A Faith-Filled Journey

From a very young age, I began to pray and dream for my life. It was in the Bible that I discovered the profound truth that God’s promises are “yea and amen.” This means that His promises are certain and reliable. I realized that my dreams aligned with God’s promises for me. The Word of God says that I can have whatever I say, but I needed to start speaking to my Father God in clear, precise language about what I wanted and speaking it over my life. God’s promises for me are what the Word of God says, and they are the answer for my life.
Step One: Pray for Favor and Guidance
The first step in making my dreams come true was to pray to the Lord. I asked Him to give me favor with His people and to show me who to go to, what to do, where to go, and how to take the necessary steps for my dreams to come to fruition. This prayer was the foundation of my journey.
Step Two: Work Diligently and Diversify
To make my dreams a reality, I began working multiple jobs at an early age. I learned about the concept of the seven streams of income to secure my future. I started diversifying my work in different job categories that I loved and that were in my heart. This approach allowed me to walk into God’s purpose for my life, and the passion I have for these jobs has never felt like work.
Step Three: Learn from Mistakes and Trust God’s Timing
I made many mistakes along the way, often jumping out ahead of God to do my own will instead of His. I am deeply grateful for God’s understanding, wisdom, and patience with me. These experiences taught me the discipline to listen to God and to move in His time. I was always getting the cart before the horse and going nowhere, but God’s guidance brought me back on track.
Step Four: Build Strong Relationships
Success in business is all about relationships. As a young woman, I thought I could do it all on my own. I didn’t understand that relationships are the circle of life. They are resources, they provide connectivity, and they are your following and your strength in numbers. Building and maintaining strong relationships has been crucial to my success.
Embrace the Journey with Faith and Determination
My journey has been one of faith, hard work, and continuous learning. I have learned to trust in God’s promises and to speak them over my life. I have worked diligently and diversified my income streams to secure my future. I have learned from my mistakes and trusted God’s timing. And I have built strong relationships that have supported and strengthened me.
To all the women out there who are striving for success in business, remember these key steps:
- Pray for Favor and Guidance: Ask God to show you the way and give you favor with His people.
- Work Diligently and Diversify: Take on multiple jobs and explore different income streams that align with your passions.
- Learn from Mistakes and Trust God’s Timing: Stay humble and open to God’s guidance, even when it means slowing down or changing direction.
- Build Strong Relationships: Cultivate a network of supportive relationships that will help you achieve your goals.
I am still standing on God’s promises today, and I know that with faith and determination, you can achieve your dreams as well. May your journey be filled with purpose, passion, and the abundant blessings of the Lord.
